Pro: More Elegant
Polyester cushions offer a more elegant look than vinyl cushions. Available in diverse colors such as white, ivory, black, and mocha, they provide a cleaner appearance in any setting.
Pro: Better for Outdoor Heat
Polyester cushions are better for outdoor heat because they don’t get as hot as vinyl does. It’s a material that don’t retain heat as vinyl does, so if you’re going to use them for outdoor events, and they are going to be under the sun, it’s better that you use polyester cushions
Pro: Better for Humid Spaces
Unlike vinyl, polyester does not become sticky in humid conditions, enhancing comfort. Also, in many cases, for outdoor events many people wear more summery clothing. This is beneficial especially for women. When they wear shorter dresses and touch the cushion directly with the skin, they don’t stick to the polyester. Therefore it is much more comfortable.

Con: They Can Stain Easier
It’s no secret that polyester stains more easily than vinyl. Our cushions have a Teflon coating to reduce the risk of staining, but polyester is still more susceptible. They can be stained by normal wear or dust, or obviously easier if they are stained by wine or any sauce, something that does not happen so easily to vinyl.
Con: Time-Consuming to Clean
You can clean them by removing the polyester cover from the foam and washing it. However, this process is time-consuming. If they have normal stains they will come out after a wash, but it’s clearly more work to have to remove the covers and then put them on instead of just wiping them with a damp cloth.
